management team
Simon Perry, Founder & Managing Director
Simon began his professional career with New York-based design agency Spiral Design as head of software development. After moving back to the UK, Simon took on contract work for two large London web development agencies before setting up Xibis at the end of 1998.
Simon’s vision in establishing Xibis was to concentrate on what he knew best: pure development of web and business systems with an emphasis on security. He started the company from scratch, successfully building up the company’s enviable reputation and customer base and in December 2006, the company moved to its third home with space to accommodate its growth.
With an ever-expanding team onboard, Simon now focuses his time mainly on strategy but can’t quite leave the coal face so still makes sure he has personal involvement in every customer project that goes out of the door.
Simon has a degree in Electronic Engineering from Swansea University, where he first developed a strong interest in web-based application design.
Away from the Xibis reins Simon can be spotted hiking up or skiing down mountains.
Alexandra Beuchert, Finance & HR Director
Alexandra has been responsible for the financial management of Xibis since the company's inception and, as the company has grown, so has her remit to cover personnel and operational issues. Alexandra makes sure Xibis has everything it needs to run smoothly just as our customers (and we) like it.
Alexandra graduated with a Degree in Geology form one of America’s oldest colleges, Union College in Schenectady, NY state, and worked in commercial photography before being drawn into the financial side of business. In addition, she organised the acquisition of new premises for Xibis in 2006 and project managed the refurbishment of it as the company’s new home, a 200 year-old, Grade II Listed Building.
Outside the office Alexandra has always been involved in the local community and amongst her current commitments she is an active member of the Oadby Civic Society and the Oadby & Wigston Pride of the Borough group. Along with Simon, she's also a very keen skier--favouring the French Alps for her holidays.
