Gameface are a growing brand in the sports clothing market, offering off the peg and custom designed team strips for rugby, hockey, netball, cricket and athletics teams.

Gameface knew that if it could offer teams something bespoke in team clothing they would increase their business so they asked Xibis to help.

Bring Up the Back Line

Gameface already had a website so the first thing Xibis did was to integrate the garment design system into their existing website design with the same look and feel.

This incorporated easy to use WYSIWYG text editors and easily updatable page images to keep the website looking current and fresh.

The Art of Design

Following that, Xibis set about creating a bespoke clothing designer to sit within the website.

After logging in, the clothing designer sequence allows the user to select the sport and basic type of the clothing i.e. shirt, shorts, socks etc. After that the design is up to the website user. The sequence follows through several screens to allow choices in colour combinations, fastenings, piping layout, collar and cuff type, player name and finally sponsor logo layout. The logo images can be uploaded and stored to specific places on the clothing for the whole team.

Once the design is completed, the user can store this design to be re-used for next years strip or re-ordered or re-designed by the user.

Each user can store multiple strips within his clothing bank. So 1st, 2nd and ladies teams can have slightly different designs on the same team theme.

Further clothing ranges can be easily added to the website using the admin system so further sports and supporter’s clothing can be added with ease to keep Gameface ahead of the game.
