Xibis moves to new "green" offices

Ever-growing Xibis upgrades to larger premises

20th December 2006

On 1st December we moved to our new offices, a 200 year-old Grade II listed building that we refurbished ourselves – thanks to Alex for all her hard work in creating a wonderful new home for the ever-growing Xibis team.

It was important for Xibis that we kit out the offices to have as low an impact on the environment as possible. We have strived to become more energy-efficient and have put switches on the trunking in each room to ensure nothing is left on overnight, such as mobile phone chargers and monitors. We have energy-saving light bulbs throughout the building and also buy all our electricity from a green supplier that uses wind farms.

Most of our rubbish is recycled, including our tea bags which we compost, and to save paper we use scrap paper for internal and draft copies of documents.

For our new address and visitor directions see our Contact page.

The site does exactly what we wanted it to; we have had many favourable comments from our customers - at the end of the day, it is their views which really count and help to build a business.
