For a long time now, Darren has been making the odd change to both our core code and the high speed development system we have named AutoGen. He has now moved into doing this research & development role full time. In his new position he will still be working on the odd site so that he remains in touch with the complexities of live development, but the vast majority of his time will be spent improving how the development team work as a whole.
In its current version, AutoGen already reduces development time by over half while simultaneously ensuring the quality is kept at a high standard. With a full-time member of staff on the case, we are obviously putting a lot of investment into ensuring we remain significantly ahead of the competition.
Currently, Darren is working on implementing a new design of our administration systems and will shortly be introducing a system to produce advanced charts of database statistics based upon VML in Internet Explorer or SGML in Firefox.
