Our Portfolio / E-Commerce for Nevada Bob’s

Nevada Bob's is a dedicated sports website, selling the same ranges of golf equipment and clothing as their 28 retail stores. The site launched in October 2010 with a tailored e-commerce solution, designed and implemented by Xibis and Clean Canvas Ltd. We were also responsible for project management for the site, working closely with graphic designers and developers at Clean Canvas (http://www.cleancanvas.co.uk).

The site was developed using .NET, with AJAX chosen to provide an attractive and easy to use customer interface.

A national store locator, news, reviews and pro golfing tips are all managed via an easy-to-use CMS module.

 Key benefits

• The Nevada Bob’s storefront integrates with a complex and extensive realtime warehouse system, which controls a 3000-item product catalogue, real-time stock control, order exports and fulfillment
• To make sure pricing on the site reflects any changes made by suppliers, product imports are run automatically on a daily basis, in conjunction with user-defined pricing rules. These rules can be fine-tuned so that Nevada Bob’s stays competitive at all times
• Without the need to manually update pricing, site administrators can focus on product and marketing content
• The site also includes a national store locator, news, reviews and pro tips all of which are managed via an easy-to-use CMS module
