Released in early 2009, the main aim of this solution was a central job vacancies portal for public authorities within the North East region.
The portal is currently used by 20 authorities, including Newcastle City Council, Sunderland City Council, Middlesborough Council and Gateshead Council. Around 200 vacancies are advertised at any one time.
Key Benefits
- By joining together the authorities have access to a larger candidate database and a greater audience for their advertised vacancies
- Xibis developed an end-to-end recruitment process for administering vacancies and managing applications through a variable workflow process
- Each authority can build custom applications forms and custom workflows
