COBA wanted to reorganise their product ranges to separate equestrian and safety flooring from designer rugs and carpeting. 

They asked Xibis to develop a web-based admin system to run multiple websites and manage their products and customers.

Key Benefits

• The administration interfaces with COBA’s existing Oracle database to co-manage their huge product range. The system holds images, categorisation information, stock levels and prices for trade and retail
• COBA's customer list is also managed through the system. Users can login and order using an e-commerce payment system. Products can be added to wish lists and users can sign up to newsletters
• Users can be labelled as retail or traders to receive the correct pricing structure set in the system. Orders are then tracked to ensure swift delivery and a high level of customer care
• COBA can build and manage multiple ‘niche’ websites. Each niche site has its own look, feel and product ranges. All of these sites are maintained using a central content management system 
• To eliminate overlap, central databases is maintained for both products and clients. Products can be specific to one website or can appear in multiple websites
• Scheduled adverts can be timed to run on one or more of the niche sites to advertise special interest items and offers and keep the sites current and fresh

The system also integrates with our existing database so very little extra admin was needed. Our automated stores system is also linked, therefore product selection and posting is done automatically saving overheads."
